Bryan Clark

Bryan Clark is a doctoral candidate in the Applied Experimental Human Factors Psychology program at the University of Central Florida. He holds an M.A. in Human Factors Psychology and a B.S. in Psychology, from UCF. As an undergraduate, Bryan was a Consortium Fellow for 3 years at the Army Research Institute, where he developed the user interface and training documentation for an After Action Review system that is used for mission training and rehearsal. His primary research interests include Anthropomorphism, Mental Models, Cognitive Flow, Metaphor Elicitation, and Affective Design (i.e., Pleasure and Enjoyment) as they apply to interactive user experiences. Bryan is passionate about Philosophy, Spirituality, and (tele-)Communication.


As a User Experience Designer, Bryan has spent 5 years conducting user research worldwide to support the development of user interfaces for consumer and medical products. Currently, he is the User Experience Engineer for Foraker Design, a website design consultancy in Boulder, Colorado.
