Applicants to the ACAT lab should have many of the following qualifications:

• Ability to dedicate a minimum of a 10 hours a week, 1 year commitment to the lab.
• Interest in robotics, video gaming, electronics, virtual reality, etc. Interest in studying human-animal & human-robot interaction.  
• Interest in cognitive, developmental, and social psychology.  
• Job experience working with animals (e.g., training).
• Prior research experience via Research Methods and Advanced Research Methods.  
• Computer skills (including Excel, SPSS, Photoshop, Digital Video Editing, Programming, HTML, SuperLab/E-Prime).
• A good sense of humor and ability to collaborate with others.
